The story rotates around three flat mates, columnist Tashi
(Imran Khan), picture taker Nitin Berry (Kunaal Roy Kapur) and sketch artist
Arup (Vir Das), driving an unkempt and obligation ridden life in a poor loft.
Tashi's ditzy life partner, Sonia (Shenaz Treasurywala), is an air leader who
consents to convey a bundle for Vladimir Dragunsky (Kim Bodnia) to Somayajulu
(Vijay Raaz), without understanding its substance or that Somayajulu is a
criminal. Sonia requests that Tashi convey the bundle. Tashi, thusly, requests
that Nitin do as such. At the same time Nitin is not able to do as such as he
is enduring 'Delhi Belly'. Nitin hands Sonia's bundle to Arup for conveyance to
Somayajulu, alongside a bundle containing his feces test for conveyance to
Nitin's specialist. Arup stirs up the two packs. Somayajulu, angry, torments
Vladimir to discover his bundle.
In the mean time, Nitin photos his landowner with a whore.
He sends an envelope with the photos to his landowner to extort him. Tashi is
with Sonia, when his partner Menaka (Poorna Jagannathan) calls him on the
appearance of work. When he achieves the spot he understands that it is simply
a gathering and Menaka called him just to have some good times. Menaka's ex
Rajeev sees them together and gives Tashi a bruised eye in an attack of desire.
Tashi strikes back and thumps Rajeev out. As Tashi and Menaka leave they are
pursued by an incensed Rajeev and his companions who shoot at them. The pair
scarcely figures out how to get away.
Vladimir advises Somayajulu that the mistake probably been
brought on by Sonia as she didn't realize what she was conveying in the bundle.
Somayajulu calls Sonia, advises her about the misunderstanding and requests
that her issue him the location of the individual who had conveyed the bundle.
At the point when Tashi touches base into his condo, he strolls into Somayajulu
who has Arup remaining on a stool with a noose around his neck. On hard
session, Somayajulu finds the misunderstanding and understands that the bundle
must be with Nitin's specialist.
Nitin gets the bundle from his specialist's office, wherein
Somayajulu discovers his thirty precious stones covered up inside. After
recouping his goods, he arranges his partners in crime to murder the three flat
mates. One of them is going to shoot Tashi, when another kicks the stool on
which Arup was remaining to hang him. Fortunately for the flat mates, the roof
of the loft falls, since it can't take Arup's weight. The collapse thumps out
Somayajulu and his men, abandoning one with broken arms. Tashi, Arup and Nitin
escape with the precious stones and spend the night at Menaka's spot. The
following day they offer the precious stones to a neighborhood gem dealer.
As the flat mates get ready to escape from town with the
cash, they get a call from Somayajulu who has hijacked Sonia. He undermines to
murder her in the event that they don't give back the jewels. The trio attempt
to purchase back the jewels from the gem dealer, who requests twofold the deal
sum.
Without the cash, Tashi concocts an arrangement. Nitin,
Arup, Tashi and Menaka camouflage themselves in burqa and victimize the
goldsmith, abandoning him the pack of cash. They escape in Tashi's auto with
the police on their tail and go to the lodging where Somayajulu is holding
Sonia. As they are going to make the trade with Somayajulu, the police touch base
at the inn room. There is a shoot-out between the police and Somayajulu's
posse.
Nitin, Arup, Tashi and Sonia, who had hit the floor amid the
gunfight, are left as the main survivors. Menaka, who at this point understands
that she prefers Tashi, is disturbed to find out about his engagement and
leaves him. Tashi severs his engagement to Sonia. Later, it is uncovered that
Nitin did not give back the money to the gems store holder, and had kept a
large portion of the cash for himself (whereupon he forsakes extorting the
landowner). The film closes when Menaka goes to the flat mates' loft to give
back Tashi's auto's hubcap lost while getting away from Rajeev. Tashi hops into
her auto through the open window and kisses her energetically.
