Essayist Yudi (Saif Ali Khan) composed a hit book five and a
half years prior yet he is as yet living jumbo in Los Angeles, appreciating
notoriety and undertakings, dodging duty, doing no work, celebrating with his
pitiably wedded companion Montu (Ranvir Shorey) or having discussions with his
fat, hairy internal voice Yogi (likewise Saif). Abruptly, Yudi's cash runs out
and his distributers dump him for hit sentiment writer Aanchal (Ileana D'Cruz),
going to from Mumbai.
The main work Yudi now gets is from Bollywood single-screen
hotshot Armaan (Govinda) who demands he duplicates Hollywood films and composes
a multiplex-style rom-parody. In the mean time, Yudi's dental practitioner and
once-better half Vishakha (Kalki Koechlin) is seeking after him fanatically,
actually stacking features of him singing in the shower on her smart phone,
driving Yudi and Montu to break into her home when she's away. On top of this
current, Yudi's got serious a temporarily uncooperative mind, preventing him
from completing any work.
Fleeing from it all, Yudi tries to appeal Aanchal yet she's

him, escorting him to Armaan's gathering, attempting to help Yudi compose,

Francisco. The couple has a fabulous time singing excellent Bollywood numbers

provocatively on the interstate looking for lifts.
Inevitably arriving at San Francisco, the few is compelled
to impart a lodging room – and consenting to keep it basic and responsibility
free, they wind up making adoration. Their relationship develops more
interesting – on Aanchal's last night in LA, they contend over supper, Yudi
tosses her telephone into a vase while she soaks him with water – yet not one
or the other communicates much else besides a feeling of light fun. It's just
when Yudi's ex Divya (Priety Zinta in a cameo), having contended with her
spouse and going by Yudi with her children, lets him know he adores Aanchal
that he lets it out to himself.
Yudi then races Aanchal's taxi to the airplane terminal in
an amusing scene and advises her his emotions – yet she says, much obliged, how
about we simply be companions. As she leaves, Yudi's soaked in discouragement –
and afterward begins to compose. Along the way, Vishakha gets captivated to a
terrified Yudi by dishonestly asserting she's pregnant – however then splits it
up, saying she doesn't need him to wed her out of compassion.
Armaan, who has in the mean time got himself corrective
