Chhau hit the dancefloor with his girl, Pakhi Roy Chaudhary (Sonakshi Sinha), a
yearning essayist. After Pakhi has an asthma assault from the resulting energy,
she is hurried home and given pharmaceutical. As she recovers, her dad comforts
her and portrays the narrative of the invulnerable ruler whose spirit dwelled
inside a parrot, advising her that she is the parrot inside whom his life
lives.
One day, while figuring out how to drive an auto, Pakhi
coincidentally finds a bike and gently harms a good looking youth. A couple of
days after the fact, the same youth acquaints himself with the proprietor as
Varun Shrivastav (Ranveer Singh), a prehistorian who needs to study the area
encompassing the sanctuary that the landowner possesses. Throughout the
following couple of weeks, Varun charms the landowner and his little girl with
his insight and persona, and is welcomed, alongside his right hand, to inhabit

wedding, Varun's uncle, who has raised him, arrives and debilitates Varun from

night, alongside all the resources they stole from the proprietor. On the

catastrophe. At the point when a police assessor asks her in helping him catch
Varun, she declines to do as such, needing just to overlook him. Before long,
Varun and his companion turn up at Dalhousie for their next heist and stay at a
cabin on Pakhi's property. Things turn appalling when the police gets wind of
their whereabouts and a pursuit follows. After Varun inadvertently slaughters
his companion alongside a constable, he looks for asylum in Pakhi's home.
Despite the fact that Pakhi does not turn him over to the

the feeble Pakhi. He admits that he has lamented releasing her since the day he
fled. Before long, Pakhi warms up to him and her confidence stays in place when
every day she discovers one final leaf staying on the tree.
In the long run, it is uncovered that separated from dealing
with Pakhi, Varun would likewise paint a leaf and tie it on a branch of the
tree regular so she doesn't surrender trust. At last, as he is going to get
away, Varun is shot around the police while Pakhi understands reality after she
takes a gander at the painted leaf nearly, and grins with tears in her eyes.
