The film starts with an ethically upright and legit Gandhian Schoolmaster, Deenanath Chauhan (Alok Nath), showing his child, Vijay Deenanath Chauhan about a ballad, 'Agneepath', which depicts 'The Path of Fire' which a man must cross in his life. This topic turns into a necessary piece of the story. Expert Deenanath is a very much cherished individual, who wishes to convey instruction to the town, Mandwa. Vijay's mom is crushed, and the picture of the schoolmaster is tarnished to the point that 12-year old Vijay needed to convey his body to the cemetery on a truck. The family leaves for Mumbai to start life once again. There, Vijay does odd occupations to win for his gang. It is additionally there that he finds out about the harsher truths of life.
