Hazari Prasad (Anupam Kher) is a penny pincher who longs for
discovering a rich young lady for his just child, Raja (Aamir Khan), to wed.
Then again, Raja is a prodigal who is just keen on spending his dad's cash on
wild gatherings.
One day as Raja is strolling to his school, a passing jeep
soaks him with mud and the inconsiderate reaction of the lovely Madhu (Madhuri
Dixit) who is driving maddens Raja. He traps Madhu into feeling that he is
visually impaired and afterward derides her when the fact of the matter is
uncovered. The two rapidly get to be foes and play tricks on one another. Raja
causes Madhu to excursion amid a move practice, and she compels him into a
battle with the school's champion boxer Shakti (Adi Irani), which Raja wins.
Then, Hazari is searching for a lady with an expansive
settlement for Raja, just to find that his contribution in the wastepaper
business makes his child a not exactly stellar marriage prospect. While going
to an extravagant lodging, Hazari coincidentally runs into a rich man, Mr.
Mehra (Saeed Jaffrey), who has one little girl. Hazari procures on-screen

of fake cash to take on the appearance of an affluent industrialist. He rapidly
gets to be companions with Mr. Mehra and the two consent to wed their kids to
