Novice boxer Ajay Mehra (Sunny Deol) is living with his sibling Ashok Mehra (Raj Babbar) and sister-in-law Indu Verma (Moushumi Chatterjee) in Mumbai. Ashok is a specialist who is confronting some inconvenience at his business, yet conceals this from his wife and Ajay. Later Ajay is sent to Bangalore for preparing.

One fine day Ajay gets a message that his sibling is in Bangalore. When he achieves the inn he finds that Ashok has officially left without leaving any message from him. Later that day he gets a call from Ashok, who is in an intoxicated state, is attempting to let him know something which is been alarming him for quite a while yet the telephone cuts suddenly. When he comes back from Bangalore, he finds that his sibling missing. His request and a police objection just lead him to dissatisfaction and vicious upheavals. At some point later he goes over Ashok's companion (Annu Kapoor), a medication someone who is addicted, who uncovers all the dull mysteries. Prior when Ashok had confronted misfortunes in his business, a rumored agent Balwant Rai (Amrish Puri) had taken on the hero's role. Balwant turns into an accomplice in Ashok's organization and settles all the obligation. This plan is indeed a spread for Balwant's illicit exercises. Balwant routinely traps genuine individuals to give spread to his unlawful business and Ashok is one of his honest exploited people. At first when Ashok opposes, Balwant debilitates him of critical results, however Ashok holds on with his appeals to close down unlawful exchange. Later, Ashok gathers proof to casing Balwant and that is the place the inconvenience begins. Balwant abducts Ashok and torments him to uncover where he has kept the confirmation.

Some way or another the associates of Balwant discover implicating proof and Balwant right away slaughters Ashok. Ajay is later encircled for the homicide and blamed for having an illegal association with his sister-in-law. His sister-in-law is not ready to tolerate injury and submits suicide. While in prison, Ajay makes companions with some other bad-to-the-bone convicts, who are great on a fundamental level. At that point one day, they get away from the correctional facility by overwhelming the watchmen. At that point starts Ajay's battle for equity, to bring down the principle scalawag Balvant Rai. One by one he brings down the cohorts of Balwant who had confined him in the homicide. The film closes with type of idyllic equity, where Ajay slaughters Balwant in an event congregation before individuals and police who are docile witnesses
